Australian trio DMA’S, known for reviving the classic Britpop sound, is set to release their 4th album in March!
This 4th album by the Australian trio DMA’S, known for reviving the classic Britpop sound, features the lead single I Don’t Need To Hide, a song about self-acceptance, and the new track "Everybody’s Saying Thursday’s The Weekend", expressing acceptance of others. Both tracks were produced by Rich Costey, known for his work with Sigur Rós and Muse, and Konstantin Kersting, known for his work with Tones & I, among others.
DMA'S has previously released 3 studio albums and performed in Japan with solo concerts and at the Fuji Rock Festival '16. The trio hails from Sydney, Australia, and signed with the prestigious Australian label "I OH YOU" in 2014. Their debut single Deletereleased in 2014 became a hit, and in 2015, a Japan-exclusive EP was released with their debut performance in Japan at Daikanyama UNIT. In 2016, they released their debut album Hills End, and made a return to Japan in July for the Fuji Rock Festival '16. In 2018, they released their second album For Now.
In 2019, they accompanied Liam Gallagher on his UK and Ireland tour. In 2020, they released their 3rd album The Glow, which entered the Top 5 on the UK album charts. In August 2021, they surprised fans with the EP, I Love You Unconditionally, Sure Am Going to Miss You.
The band consists of Tommy O’Dell (Vocals), Johnny Took (Guitar), and Matt Mason (Synth, Guitar, Vocals).
