"A migratory bird with a guitar from the Eastern Mediterranean!? BOOM PAM, the surf guitar rock trio representing the lesser-known music powerhouse of the Middle East, Israel, lands in Japan for the first time! With their unique lineup of electric guitar, tuba, and drums, they blend exotic Greek songs, Middle Eastern belly dance music, Spaghetti Western, Balkan Gypsy brass, and a somewhat nostalgic melody reminiscent of Japanese Showa-era songs into surf rock directly descended from The Ventures.

The ALAKAZAM being released in Japan this time is their 3rd album produced in 2010. Guitarist and leader Uri himself took on the production, successfully recording 14 of the catchiest and most diverse tracks with a fresh yet lo-fi sound. The album also includes a cover of the exotic classic "Harlem Nocturne" from the mid-20th century jazz to R&B transition, known for performances by Brian Setzer and Johnny Otis."
