This work was recorded live in a New York studio with minimal editing, created in real-time without prior preparation, which surprised even these experienced collaborators with its powerful chemistry. Focused on collective creation in real-time, they produced a sound where the bass, piano, and vocals seamlessly merged. This is truly momentary music, indefinable in words, yet the audience can feel different facets of the world with each listen.

Iyer says, "This project is very important to me. Making music with Aluji and Shahzad feels like an out-of-body experience. It's like hearing the music from above while being in the moment. I feel a sense of awe for this strangely serene work that seems to have been carried from somewhere. I can't wait for everyone to listen to it, feel it, and live with it."

This trio began after a debut performance in 2018 when Shahzad Ismaily approached Aluji Aftab and Vijay Iyer backstage in New York. "We felt something from the start. Our relationship was mysterious. We didn't know what happened. But we said, 'Let's do it again.' while looking at each other," recalls Iyer. The three of them, without any prior preparation, experienced a strong chemical reaction that surprised the staff. They spontaneously created music together, and the openness of each member became a decisive approach for the band before recording their debut album.

Vocalist Aluji Aftab, the first Pakistani to win a Grammy Award, has captivated audiences worldwide with his enchanting performances. Vijay Iyer, a MacArthur Fellow and Grammy-nominated artist, is one of the most influential pianists today.
