A collection of film music by Truffaz, a world-renowned figure in the jazz scene whose style is often compared to that of Miles Davis.
Revisiting some of the great musical works created during the golden age of cinema, this album features Truffaz's unique touch, bringing a fresh sound to his music and resulting in an attention-grabbing jazz album.

Featuring tracks from films such as The Burglars, starring Jean-Paul Belmondo, Federico Fellini's La Strada, Marilyn Monroe's rendition of "One Silver Dollar" from River of No Return, Fantomas, Elevator to the Gallows, the TV series The Persuaders!, and Belle de Jour starring Catherine Deneuve and Jean Sorel. Truffaz searched for and selected many memorable films from his memories as a movie fan, recalling the films he watched as a child and teenager in dark movie theaters. 

The album serves as a tribute to the celluloid illuminated by jazz, paying homage to composers such as Nino Rota, John Barry, Ennio Morricone, Miles Davis, and Michel Magne, who created music for the cinema.
