Profile:

A DJ and sound creator, he started DJing in 1985. In 1995, he ventured to the UK to build his international DJ career, and upon returning to Japan, he played at various clubs across the country. In 2000, he released Mensole of Sound, a form of Okinawan dance music incorporating the shamisen, and since then, he has worked on remixes for various artists such as m-flo, Port of Notes, and Hiroshi Fujiwara.

In 2003, he debuted with the album GK SOUND (Cruel Record) as part of the unit "G.K." with DJ Kawasaki, then returned to solo activities. After releasing the remix instrumental collection Otoyobi (Respect Record), which featured remixes of Okinawan folk songs, his base of activities shifted back to Okinawa from Tokyo. He has gained attention as a missionary of the authentic Okinawan music scene.
