Born in Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture. She has loved singing since childhood and was a member of a choir for 6 years.

 

After entering Musashino Art University, she joined the university's circle "Latin Music Research Society". She started band activities and took on the role of vocalist. During her time at university, she began creating original songs and started performing at live houses in Tokyo.

 

From 1997 to the present, she has released a total of 7 albums from Sony Music and Happiness Records.

 

In 2001, she relocated her base to her hometown of Okinawa. She continues her live activities both in and outside Okinawa at her own pace.

Born in 1969 in Fukuoka Prefecture. As a solo pianist, she performs at jazz clubs and hotel lounges in the prefecture. She also collaborates with notable performers such as Yoko Aragaki, a master of Yaeyama folk songs, and Sumiko Yoseyama, a renowned female jazz singer from Okinawa. In October 2011, she released the album, Jo'ya produced with Yoko Aragaki, receiving high praise. She is also active as a painter.
