Born in Saitama on January 9, 1981, this singer-songwriter delves into music with a micro perspective, expressing various childhood experiences, sensations, and daily life in Tokyo. She played instruments such as the accordion, trumpet, and guitar, performing live in various styles from band arrangements to solo guitar performances.
During her childhood, She was influenced by her father's love for jazz, Latin music, and popular songs. She played the trumpet in brass bands and wind ensembles from elementary school to high school. As a singer-songwriter, she debuted on stage in 2000 and, under the production of S-ken, released six albums (including EPs), two singles, and one live DVD between 2007 and 2011.
In 2011, their original song "Kaiten Mokuba ni Boku to Neko" was adopted on NHK's "Minna no Uta".
Since 2012, she has been self-producing albums, releasing Horohoro in 2012 and Unagi in 2014. In 2015, she released the guitar solo album Bocchi exclusively available at live venues (now also available for purchase directly from their website).
In August 2016, their 9th album, Mahoroba was released nationwide. In the same year, the song "Moshimoshi Sō Sō" was aired on the E-tele (Educational) program "Shakiin! Music."
In April 2018, her 10th album Caldera was released. She has also contributed to commercial music by providing vocals and narration and composed the theme song and background music for the drama "Sute Neko ni Hirowareta Otoko" broadcasted on BS Premium.
Currently, the song "Ishigamigawa de Aimasho" is used as the closing music for all 15 libraries in Kita Ward, Tokyo.
In April 2020, she participated in chorus and other roles for the 1st album Triptych of Shohei Takagi's solo project "Shohei Takagi Parallela Botanica", which is scheduled for release.
