Ryuhei Koike, born in 1978 in Arakawa Ward, Tokyo, is a rhythm guitarist and singer-songwriter. He first picked up the guitar during high school and developed a passion for rhythm guitar after encountering various black music genres, including Brazilian music, through activities in the Waseda University Latin American Association. In 2003, he formed the acoustic trio "Bophana", releasing debut albums such as Bophana produced by Takaji Aoyagi. In 2006, he founded "Hands of Creation" and made a major debut. The band, rooted in American folk, reggae, and Brazilian music, performed at numerous major festivals. Since 2009, Ryuhei has focused on solo and support activities, collaborating with diverse musicians such as Miyuki Hatakeyama, Ann Sally, and Tsuyoshi "tico" Toki (Little Tempo).
Hiroyuki Nagakubo, born on March 28, 1971, in Tokyo, started playing the guitar influenced by friends during junior high school. In his early twenties, he played in several bands and also worked as a DJ. In 2001, he formed "lake" with Iga Koji (bass), Yuko Kitayama (drums), and Yuichiro Kato (sax). He joined Caravan's tour as a member and participated in Keiichi Sokabe's Rendezvous Band in 2007. Currently, he is active as a member of "lake" and "EXTICO DE LAGO." Additionally, he serves as a support musician for artists such as Tomo Ino, Juichi Juichi, Keiichi Sokabe, Keison, and Nao Kodama. In 2012, he released his solo album ROCK 'EXOTICA' STEADY.
