This album is a collection of songs with the theme of “roses”, including a new recording of “Bara ga Saita”, from his extensive repertoire of folk, country, bluegrass, Hawaiian music, and more.

The collaboration between Mike Maki and Ren Takada, the son of folk legend Wataru Takada, is a dream pairing that can suggest the possibilities of a new acoustic sound.
