Song Commentary

1. "Nihon no Uta"
It’s memories of midsummer, I lying on the road looking at the darkening sky, the concrete was still warm, the gradation of the sky and the silhouette of the blue mountains, dragonflies flying around. My hopelessly beloved scenery of Japan.
When I first made this song, it had a mellow tone, but thanks to his arrange, it transformed into a song that makes you want to dance!

2. "Kimi Dake no Magic Hour"
During the recording of Recochoku, I was struck by the words "Magic Time" from the CM director, and the song expanded from there.
I strongly wanted to sing about the "magic hour" that should surely exist in each person's heart, beyond the meaning of the twilight hour, and it suddenly came to me.

3. "Mitakeoashin"
There is a cafeteria called "Mitakeoashin" run by a girl named Church at Suttenji Temple.
When it was inevitable for the shop to close, I thought about what I could do for the hardworking Church and decided to create this song. A few months later, when it was finally decided to reopen at another location, I went to sing with my guitar. It is probably my first song about a specific person.

4. "Doo Wappa" (Kao Corporation Recochoku TV-CM Image Song)
The song that sparked my acquaintance with Nagano.
The refreshing and bright song felt very new, yet it was very easy to sing.
I've sung various versions of it, and I love them all, but I decided to start with this one for the album. The lyrics for this album are in Japanese.
