A 10-inch vinyl record featuring film music with themes of "love and hope" by a popular artist in the streaming world.
Yup Bevin, a composer, and pianist from the Netherlands, debuted with Germany's Deutsche Grammophon in April 2017. He is a highly popular artist in the streaming world. This release marks the long-awaited debut of his work as the music for the short film POST.

The short film POST, directed by Hugo Kaiser, begins with a mother's decision to admit her daughter to the hospital to entrust her to professional care. However, her thoughts change at the entrance of the hospital. Remembering how moved she was in her youth and how important it was to always be in nature, the mother decides to take her daughter out into nature to heal her. This desperate attempt eventually leads to a long journey of regeneration for the mother and daughter.

"We've been working on this track for five years. We have waited for the right time to send this song out into the world, postponing its release several times. Working with many different people, we continuously evolved this track without interruption, exploring its purpose and perspective. The entire process felt completely natural. Without Christian Bausler, who pushed forward with the production of this record, it would have remained dormant somewhere on my hard drive. 

For me, this track is primarily about love and hope. I always felt it should be a soundtrack with a story, and I eagerly awaited to prove that.
The idea came to me while writing lyrics for the chorus. It's a song where a mother sings to her depressed teenage daughter, urging her to wake up, reminding her of the beautiful landscapes outside, and affirming that life is worth experiencing no matter what. Unfortunately, teenagers have many reasons to question the purpose of life. And many parents are struggling with the fact that they have brought their children into a world of terrifying times, where discussions of our extinction are on the table. The strongest answer we can and have to this sad reality is love. 

The most powerful form of love is the relationship between a parent and a child. That's why I wanted to focus on that relationship. It's something everyone can empathize with, and everyone can feel its power. I was very lucky to meet director Hugo Kaiser by chance. He immediately empathized with the idea and the story and then offered directly the project with passion. And together with the production company, Mike Tee Vee, they made this film a reality. They believed in this project and invested a lot of time and energy into it. Without them, this film wouldn't have been possible.
