Abel Kozeniowski, who was in charge of the music, was born in Krakow, Poland. Influenced by his mother who played the cello, he became familiar with music from an early age, and his two brothers also became musicians. At the Krakow Academy of Music, he studied cello and composition under director Krzysztof Penderecki and won various awards as a film composer. In 2009, he won the San Diego Critics Circle Award for the film A Single Man and was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score. In 2012, he was nominated for the same award for the film Wallis and Edward.
