Recorded in 1963, this lesser-known gem features Coles leading a dynamic sextet with Joe Henderson on tenor saxophone, Leo Wright on alto saxophone, Duke Pearson on piano, Bob Cranshaw on bass, and Walter Perkins and Pete La Roca on drums. This is a masterpiece that was not widely known, overseen by Duke Pearson, who served as the overall director (producer/composer/arranger/pianist).
