First Landing in Japan! Afro-Arab Band, "Quarter To Africa" Debut Album has come!

"Quarter To Africa" is a musical ensemble composed of talented musicians from Israel, centered around the Arab traditional instrument "Oud". 
The ensemble includes saxophone, trumpet, percussion, guitar, bass, drums, synth, and vocals. They bring a colorful Afro-Arab groove sound mixed with Middle Eastern music, African rhythms, jazz, and funk, making their debut in Japan!

As a bonus track exclusive to the Japanese edition, the album includes "yeshuato - live at 'the zone' TLV. Ft. Avishai Cohen" featuring the world-renowned jazz bassist Avishai Cohen, along with three other tracks. This band is gaining attention and is set to perform at the music festival "LIVE MAGIC! 2017" curated by Mr. Peter Barakan this year.

"I've always been drawn to music that can't be easily classified into a single genre. Music that emerges from the encounter and exchange of multiple cultures is truly fascinating, and Quarter To Africa is exactly that kind of group. Israel as a country has far more ethnicities coexisting than the surface image suggests, and that diversity is strongly reflected in their music. When I heard their sound they call “Afro-Arab” on YouTube earlier this year, I had an instant reaction: “I want to invite them to Live Magic!” And now that the performance is happening, I'm really looking forward to it."
