am8, a Tokyo-based music unit that started its activities in 2020, releases a new song on 7-inch vinyl featuring guest artist Mizuki Ohira. On the B-side, they include a Bossa Nova cover of Daft Punk's "One More Time"!

After their debut album release in December of the same year, am8 has been energetically engaged in various activities such as analog releases, continuous delivery(streaming), and remix projects under the title "am8 killed by" since May 2021. 

On Side A, they present "Scala ft. Mizuki Ohira + KIKI TAM", a downtempo track with lyrics written by DJ/author/producer Yukki Kawamura, featuring the distinctive and powerful vocals of Mizuki Ohira, along with rap verses in Cantonese by KIKI TAM from Hong Kong. This song was a remote collaboration between Tokyo and Hong Kong during the pandemic, with the creative input of familiar figures like Mr. Chuyen, known for the TV show "Denpa Shonen".

On Side B, they offer an updated Brazilian beat version of Daft Punk's iconic track "One More Time", for the sudden dissolution of the group earlier this year. Collaborating once again with singer HANA, whose participation in their debut album, iDoM is still fresh in memory, am8 delivers a delightful and refreshing cover with lively vocals over a breezy and upbeat rhythm.
