Here is the announcement of the first-ever limited edition, the vinyl release of a Live Recording album by mitsume, where everything from recording to dubbing was done live on stage!

This latest album, titled mitsume Live “Recording”, is the audio recording of the live event held on February 26, 2022, at the Otemachi Mitsui Hall. The band brought the recording studio console to the venue, where they recorded the basic tracks with all members playing simultaneously, just like a regular recording session. They then added other instruments and vocals through multi-track recording. In addition to recording vocals in the vocal booth prepared on stage, the members performed keyboards, woodwinds, percussion, and other instruments not usually played live. Shinji Tanaka, the band's engineer from their first album, was present to oversee the operation.

This event marked a groundbreaking moment in mitsume's activities. The setlist includes a mix of old favorites such as "恋はかけあし" ("Koi ha Kakeashi") from their early days, "cider cider," and "トニックラブ" ("Tonic Love"), along with the newly reconstructed popular tracks that mitsume has become known for, including the new song "Shadow," totaling eight tracks.

With this audio release, Shinji Tanaka handled the remixing, and Tsubasa Yamazaki handled the mastering. The recording live event, experienced by both the audience and the band, is now revived through the grooves of the record captured.
