Takashi Fujii and Anju Suzuki’s duet cover song "We Should be Dancing" is getting a 7-inch vinyl release! The B-side includes a remix by Night Tempo!!
"We Should be Dancing," a pre-release single from Takashi Fujii's highly anticipated new album Music Restaurant Royal Host, set to be released on September 21st, is getting a limited edition analog release on "Record Day 2022."
This Eurobeat number, known for being covered by Yūko Arai during her time with Tokyo Performance Doll, originally saw Anju Suzuki debuting in the UK under the name KAKKO in 1990, produced by Stock Aitken Waterman. Now, Takashi Fujii and Anju Suzuki come together for a duet cover.
The arrangement features the producer/DJ Night Tempo, with Anju Suzuki handling the Japanese translation of the lyrics, which Takashi Fujii sings, while Anju Suzuki reinterprets the original lyrics in her self-cover.
On the flip side, you'll find a newly crafted remix by Night Tempo exclusively for this analog release. This version kicks things up a notch, delivering a dancefloor-ready, killer rendition. With the exquisite collaboration of these three talents, this classic song is reborn!
