Yano Makoto releases his solo album with vocals as an LP, marking a return since his last vocal album over two decades ago.

Featuring lyrics by poets Shuntarō Tanikawa, Nankai Shoko, Tomoko Okabe, Naoko Shirakami, and the lyricist Kimiko Komine of ZABADAK, the album's performances are centered around Yano Makoto's piano and keyboards. Vocal performances by Yoiko Hirata, Kazuyo Karino, and Naoko Shirakami, along with percussion by Mari Sekine, drums by Wataru Daikō, and guitar-less, simple arrangements by Zero Kondō, create a completely unique and incomparable sound that no one else can imitate. The result is music that exists nowhere else.

[Yano Makoto]

Composer, arranger, producer, pianist. Since the early 1970s, he has been active with Keiichi Suzuki, Haruomi Hosono, Takashi Matsumoto, and Kyohei Tsutsumi. In 1972, he debuted as a composer and arranger for artists such as Ayumi Ishida, Saori Minami, and Bread & Butter. He has since worked with Masaki Kishino, Minako Yoshida, Kyoko Yano, Yoshitaka Minami, Seri Ishikawa, and others, pioneering new music scenes. He has also arranged and produced for artists such as Yosui Inoue, Moonriders, Unicorn, and Sunny Day Service. He began his solo career in 1990.
