The vibrant afterglow of her previous work "Bochi Bochi Ginga," released in May 2022, still lingers vividly in our minds. Now, Satoko Shibata's newest creation, "Your Favorite Things," is set for an analog release.

Satoko Shibata

Singer-Songwriter/Poet. Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Graduated from Musashino Art University and completed her postgraduate studies at Tokyo University of the Arts.  
She began her career in 2010, inspired by a remark from a mentor during her university years.  

In 2012, she made her album debut with her first album "Shibata Satoko Tō," produced by Hiroki Misawa with multi-track recording. Since then, she has broadened her range of activities, centering around singing, and released her sixth original album, "Bochi Bochi Ginga," in 2022.  
In 2016, she published her first poetry collection, "Sabāku." The same year, she received the 5th El Sur Foundation Newcomer Award (Contemporary Poetry Division). She has also contributed numerous poems, essays, and children's stories. In 2023, she published an essay collection, "Kiregire no Diary," summarizing her seven-year serial work in the literary magazine "Bungakukai."  

In addition to presenting her works, she is involved in providing music, appearing in films and dramas, and fully producing music videos, demonstrating a versatility that transcends traditional forms of expression.
